Welcome to Silent Hll, Slenderman Ch. 2

Chapter Two

      I walked into the shadows before me. A group of humans were huddling and talking about what they just saw. I have no idea but they perceived me as a monster. As I came closer, the crowd stepped back to protect themselves. The very same woman was in front of them and asks me again these questions:

      “Just who are you? What are you? Are you one of my daughter’s creations? Are you one of Alessa’s creatures?”

      This time, I feel relaxed. I calmly answered her questions. Now it’s my turn, I asked her about this town: the history, how did this town become like this, who is this Alessa she was talking about? At first they were afraid due to my voice and my physical appearance, but later they finally get used to it. The woman answered my questions with the history of this town.

      According to my understanding, Silent Hill was referred as “The place of the Silent Spirits”. I guess I know now the origins of the town’s name. Their ancestors conducedt weird and mysterious rituals. After some time, European people settled in this town and forcing the Native Americans to leave the land. Witchcraft is not allowed in this town due to epidemic cases in the early 1700’s.  Centuries later, they formed a religious group called “The Order” but many opposed this kind of religion. After many years, many people were sacrificed to please their so-called “god”. Aside from sacrifices, they also burn people who practiced black magic or witchcraft. Her daughter was accused in this thing and they were both tricked by the Order because instead of purifying Alessa, they really intended to burn her. During the ritual, the fire accidentally burst out and burning Alessa alive. Luckily she was still alive when they tried to retrieve her body. In the hospital, Alessa’s pain and suffering caused her soul to split in half. Her original soul carries her kindness and caring while the other one carries her wrath, pain, and hatred leaving her “dark side” to take over. The dark Alessa then pulled the whole town into a living nightmare where the monsters, like the one I defeated before, plagued the whole town. Apparently, this is the whole situation of this town.

      After a short brief lesson, I’ve decided to find this Alessa and I must defeat her if I ever want to leave this place.
