Epilogue

       I came back to the forest as soon as I left Silent Hill. Finally, I have found a place I will call as my Home. I don’t care now about the townsfolk or anyone who is looking for me. I searched again the drawings of my best friend, but I only found eight of them. It doesn’t matter for now; I post these drawings on different locations here in the woods. I’m sure that she is always watching after me. No matter what, I will always protect her precious drawings because these are the only things that remind me of her. If anyone who dare to take these away, I will assure that their very existence will be wiped out.

       I am the Slenderman. Der Rifer, Grosse Man, and Tall Man are all my side names. What I have learned from Silent Hill is that Humans are much greedier as they can. Their selfish actions can cause misunderstanding and chaos throughout amongst them and their surroundings. Anyone can be someone else’s nightmare. I am this town’s nightmare and I am their reaper. Using the new ability I have, I am invincible. I cannot be defeated. But I must train myself to control my frustrations and anger. I can’t let that incident ever happen again.

       And up to this present day, I still guard this very forest where I naturally belong. I still never forget about that one little girl who made me feel very important, being cared for, a friend. I never get to say my gratitude towards her. My appearance yet don’t show any kind of emotions, yet deep inside me, I can feel myself longing for someone that made our bond very special. I know what I did can’t be forgivable, but it’s the least I can do. It is now a duty I must do. To protect my home and my friend’s remaining memories.
